Privacy Policy

Effective July 6, 2026

Interviewium is a coding-interview practice app for iOS with a companion website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what the product needs to work — nothing is sold.

Information we collect

  • Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and, if provided, your name. Apple's Hide My Email is supported.
  • Practice content and progress. The problems you attempt, the code and solution steps you write, submission scores, feedback, and streaks. This lets your work sync between the app and the website.
  • Purchases. Subscriptions bought in the app are processed by Apple; subscriptions bought on this website are processed by Paddle, which is the merchant of record. From either we receive only the identifiers needed to confirm your entitlement. We never see your card or payment details.
  • Usage and device data. Product-analytics events (screens viewed, features used) and a device identifier used to enforce free-trial limits before you sign in.
  • Advertising measurement on this website. If you arrive from one of our ads, the Meta pixel sets cookies in your browser (_fbp, _fbc) so Meta can tell it was that ad that brought you. When you subscribe here, we also send Meta a server-side record of the purchase — the amount, the currency, and your email address hashed with SHA-256, never in the clear. This happens on the website only; the iOS app contains no advertising SDK and reports nothing to any ad network.

How we use your information

  • Run and save your practice sessions across devices.
  • Grade your solutions. Code you submit for review is sent to our AI model provider to produce a score and written feedback.
  • Manage subscriptions, trials, and access to paid content.
  • Understand which features help and fix what doesn't, using aggregate analytics.

Service providers we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with vendors that operate the service on our behalf:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and progress.
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple and in-app subscription billing.
  • Google — Sign in with Google.
  • Paddle — merchant of record for subscriptions bought on this website; handles payment, tax, and billing support.
  • Our AI model provider — grades submitted code and returns feedback.
  • Amplitude — product analytics.
  • Meta — measures which of our ads led to a subscription, as described above. Website only.

We do not sell your personal information. We share the purchase measurement described above with Meta so we can tell which ads work; we do not share your practice content, your code, or your progress with any advertising network.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and practice data while your account is active. You can delete your attempts from within the app, and you can request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at teymurgg321@gmail.com. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or billing reasons.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is restricted to what is needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children's privacy

Interviewium is intended for a general audience preparing for software-engineering interviews and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International users

We may process and store data in countries other than yours, including the United States. By using Interviewium you consent to this transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
